【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishestherequirementsforelectrolyticcoppercathode;electrorefinedandelectrowon.1.2UnitsThevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsarethestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Note1Cathodeproducedtothisspecificationcorrespondstothedesignation"Cath"asdefinedinClassificationB224andmaybeusedtoproduceallothercopperslistedinClassificationB224thatarenormallyproducedfrom"Cath"copper.Note2Grade1cathodeconformstothechemicalcompositionalrequirementsofCopperUNSNo.C11040,exceptforoxygen,andissuitableforthemanufactureofwirerodasdesignatedinSpecificationB49.Thefollowinghazardcaveatappliestothetestmethodsdescribedinofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
